| State Luncheon Rides The state of Missouri Women On Wheels® chapters meet for lunch once a month. This month we will be meeting at Tommy's Tater Patch, Rolla, MO. The luncheon will be from 1:30-2:30 pm. All ladies and support members are urged to attend. We have an enjoyable time and get to see our members from other chapters in the state. Please try to attend and join in on our fun in helping our NEW!!!! chapter, the Ladies of the Rubi. Let's give them a boost in starting their very own chapter. Bring someone new!! | Motorcycle Ride for the Children proceeds going to the"For the Children Foundation" On Saturday October 2, Linda is inviting us to a charitable bike ride. We will meet for a ride to the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. The ride will be to HaHa Tonka Park located between Camdenton and Osage Beach. The monies raised will get the riders lunch (as we have a sponsor) and the entire donation will go to the "For the Children Foundation" which supports the behavioral health needs of area children across mid-Missouri. There will be three (3) starting locations, Pathways in Clinton, MO, at 10:00 am on Saturday morning. Jeffrerson City, MO and Rolla, MO. Cost is $20 per bike and $10 for passenger. Funds raised are accepted in the spirit of providing increased access to quality, affordable behavior health services to children & their families. | Fall Foliage Ride Again it is time for our annual Fall Foliage Ride. This year will be a spectatular ride! We will meet on Ellis Blvd In Jefferson City at the Schulte's Grocery Store, on the west side of 54 Hwy in the SW corner of Ellis Blvd and 54 HWY. Please be there by noon with a full tank of gas and ready to roll. We will travel down C Hwy to Versailles the 5 Hwy south to Camdenton and HaHa Tonka State Park for a picture at the Natural Bridge. We will ride back to Camdenton to have a late lunch at Journey's End Bar & Grill (Biker place). Hope everyone will be able to make this ride. | |
